Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • tortilla or corn chips
  • shredded lettuce
  • chopped tomato
  • chopped onion
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat from the beef.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix.
  4. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Cover a platter with tortilla or corn chips.
  6. Layer shredded lettuce on top of the chips.
  7. Add the beef mixture over the lettuce.
  8. Top with chopped tomato, chopped onion, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
