Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons soft butter
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 3 to 5 tablespoons cold water
  • Quiche
  • 8 slices bacon cooked
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 8 ounces shredded swiss cheese 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Pastry
  2. Sift flour and salt, cut in butter and sahortening. Sprinkle salt, water and toss into a ball. Cover and chill 3 hours. Roll quick crust. Bake at 425 degree oven for 15 minutes
  3. Quiche
  4. Fry bacon till crisp save 3 or 4 slices and crumble rest. Saute onion till soft. Beat eggs add milk nutmeg salt pepper sprinkle cheese in pie
