Raisin Nut Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 lb rice
  • 1 (49 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 cup golden raisin
  • 1 cup chicken liver, chopped
  • 3/4 cup celery, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to tase

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger and livers in butter.
  2. Add garlic, onion, celery, parsley and cook until onions are transparent.
  3. Add rice, chicken broth, and nuts to meat mixture.
  4. Cook in medium size roasting pan at 425 degrees for 30 minutes or until rice is done.
  5. Add cinnamon and raisins.
  6. Let set for 10 minutes.
