Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans
  • 1 (1 lb.) kidney beans, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 tsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter and brown the ground chuck.
  3. Stir in the onion soup mix, pork and beans, kidney beans, prepared mustard, cider vinegar, catsup, and water.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 2 1/2-quart casserole or bean pot.
  5. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly.
