Ingredients

  • 1 fryer, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Arrange pieces of chicken in a single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine soup, chopped onion, canned mushrooms, mushroom liquid, water, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Mix well and spoon the mixture over the chicken pieces.
  4. Bake in a 375°F oven for 1 hour or until the chicken is tender and richly browned.
