Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. top round steak
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/3 c. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the steak in hot oil in a Dutch oven.
  2. Add flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add water, tomato sauce, chili powder, and crushed garlic; bring to a boil.
  4. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender.
