Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. cream cheese
  • 3/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 3/4 c. nuts, chopped
  • 2 pkg. cherry gelatin
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 can applesauce
  • dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, chopped celery, mayonnaise, and chopped nuts; let stand at room temperature.
  2. Dissolve cherry gelatin in hot water; add applesauce and cinnamon.
  3. Pour half of the gelatin mixture into a pan; congeal.
  4. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture over the congealed layer; top with the remaining gelatin mixture and congeal.
