Rich, creamy peanut butter bars topped with smooth chocolate, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and great for sharing at parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 lb. confectioners sugar
  • 2 c. chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Add confectioners sugar a little at a time, you may not need all of it.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mixture in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine chocolate chips and microwave until melted.
  5. Spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Let set, then cut into squares.
