Ingredients

  • 2 medium cabbages
  • 8 carrots
  • 8 red peppers
  • 8 green peppers
  • 12 medium onions
  • 3 pt white vinegar
  • 6 c sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard seed

Instructions

  1. Grind the cabbages, carrots, red peppers, green peppers, and onions in a blender.
  2. Add 1/2 cup salt to the mixture and let stand for 2 hours.
  3. Drain the mixture dry or squeeze out excess liquid.
  4. Add white vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, and celery seed to the drained mixture.
  5. Mix well and pack into jars.
  6. Seal the jars and store.
