Ingredients

  • 3/4-inch pork chops
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1 1/4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Brown chops in a large skillet; drain on paper towels.
  2. Saute onion, green pepper, and celery in drippings until tender.
  3. Stir in onion soup mix and water.
  4. Return chops to the pan and cover to simmer for 45 minutes, stirring often, until chops are tender.
  5. Serve over brown rice.
