Rib Lifters
Ingredients
- 3 lb. boneless short ribs ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. oil ⓘ
- 1 clove garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1/2 c. onions, minced ⓘ
- 1/2 c. celery, minced ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 c. water ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. ground allspice ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar ⓘ
Instructions
- Brush meat with Kitchen Bouquet.
- Brown well in hot oil. Remove meat from pan.
- In same pan, saute garlic, onion and celery for 2 minutes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Return meat to pan.
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
