Ingredients

  • 1/2 box shells
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 large can mushrooms with liquid
  • 1 pkg. onion soup
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 4 c. boiling water

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/2 box shells, 1 cup rice, 1 large can mushrooms with liquid, 1 packet onion soup, and 1 stick margarine or butter in a bowl and stir until well mixed.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, cover loosely with foil, and bake uncovered at 350°F for about 60 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed and the shells are tender.
  3. Remove from oven, uncover the dish, and allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
