  1. While the roast beef is cooking, prepare one cup of flour, one cup of milk, two eggs, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix the ingredients together to form a smooth batter and let it stand for a while.
  3. When the meat is ready, remove it from the pan.
  4. Use the drippings from the roast for the pudding.
  5. Put the drippings into a 9 x 12-inch pan or muffin tins.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425°F and wait until the fat is smoking.
  7. Stir the batter again, then pour it into the pan or muffin tins with hot drippings.
