Ingredients

  • 3 medium chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1 lb minced steak
  • 2 c sliced potatoes
  • 2 c sliced carrots

Instructions

  1. Brown chopped onions in oil in a large frying pan.
  2. Shape minced steak into balls and add to the onions to brown.
  3. Remove the steak balls from the pan.
  4. Add sliced potatoes and sliced carrots to the pan.
  5. Pour water into the pan, then place the steak balls on top.
  6. Season to taste, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
  7. Serve hot, yielding 4 servings.
