Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 3 bouillon cubes
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Spread the rice in a shallow baking dish.
  2. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes until the rice is golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  3. Transfer the rice to a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Dissolve the bouillon cubes in boiling water and add to the rice.
  5. Add the minced onion, celery salt, and margarine to the casserole.
  6. Blend all ingredients well, cover, and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
