Ingredients

  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 box raisins
  • 1 pkg. coconut
  • 1 lb. English walnuts
  • 1 box yellow cake mix

Instructions

  1. Grind raisins, coconut, and walnuts finely using a food chopper.
  2. Make cake layers from the yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Mix sweet milk, sugar, vanilla, and butter in a pot.
  4. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium heat.
  5. Add the ground raisins, coconut, and walnuts to the boiling mixture.
  6. Stir well until combined, then spread the mixture between the cake layers and on top.
