Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. active dry yeast
  • 2 c. dry milk
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 9 c. water
  • 7 qt. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. shortening

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and knead the dough.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
  3. Punch down the dough and let it rise again.
  4. Form the dough into balls and place them on baking sheets.
  5. Let the rolls rise until puffy.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven until browned and cooked through.
