Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups coconut, finely cut
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs, milk, vanilla, coconut, baking powder, and mix well.
  3. Gradually add enough flour to form a stiff dough.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
  5. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 7 to 8 minutes or until lightly golden.
