Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups oats

Instructions

  1. Mix cocoa, sugar, milk, margarine, and salt well in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to full boil and boil for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
  5. Add oats and mix well.
  6. Cool mixture until it holds shape.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
  8. Chill until set.
