- Combine sour cream, chopped green onion, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic salt, beef, and salt in a bowl.
- Hollow out the center of the round rye bread and cut the removed bread into bite-sized pieces; set aside.
- Fill the hollowed-out bread with the prepared dip.
- Wrap the filled bread with foil.
- Place the foil-wrapped bread on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
- Cut additional rye bread into pieces for serving or additional bread.
