Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 round rye bread
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 pound beef
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine sour cream, chopped green onion, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic salt, beef, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Hollow out the center of the round rye bread and cut the removed bread into bite-sized pieces; set aside.
  3. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the prepared dip.
  4. Wrap the filled bread with foil.
  5. Place the foil-wrapped bread on a cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  7. Cut additional rye bread into pieces for serving or additional bread.
