Salami rolls feature savory salami and melted cheese wrapped in flaky dough, baked to perfection. Perfect as an appetizer or snack for gatherings and casual bites.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen pizza dough
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb. sliced hard salami
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Put frozen pizza dough in a floured bowl; cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Let dough rise for about 4 hours or refrigerate overnight.
  4. Divide dough into 4 portions.
  5. For each portion, roll out into a rectangle.
  6. Lay sliced hard salami in overlapping rows down the center of each rectangle.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the salami.
  8. Fold in the ends and roll from the long side to form a log.
  9. Lay the rolls seal-side down on a cookie sheet; pinch ends to seal.
  10. Brush the top of each roll with egg whites.
  11. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
