Ingredients

  • 2 lb. veal cutlet, 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Cut veal into 6 serving pieces, discarding bone and skin.
  2. Beat egg slightly; stir in milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip veal pieces in bread crumbs, then into egg mixture, and again into bread crumbs.
  4. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over low heat.
  5. Add veal and cook for 30 minutes or until well browned, turning only once.
