Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie crust
  • 1 can salmon, drained and flaked
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk or cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Beat eggs in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add drained and flaked salmon, chopped green onions, chopped green pepper, milk or cream, salt, sugar, and red pepper to the eggs. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the deep-dish pie crust.
  5. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F (150°C).
  7. Continue baking until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
