Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. finely chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • lime juice to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, adding lime juice one tablespoon at a time to taste.
  2. Serve immediately or refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
