Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different type of nut?

Absolutely! While the recipe calls for chopped peanuts, you can substitute them with any nut of your choice, such as almonds or walnuts. This allows for personalization based on your taste preferences or dietary needs, making it versatile for various occasions.

How long do these logs need to freeze?

It's best to freeze the logs for at least 2 hours until they're firm. This ensures that they hold their shape when coated in the caramel mixture and when rolled in nuts. If time allows, freezing them overnight provides the best results.

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes! Salted Nut Logs can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer. They maintain their flavor and texture well, making them a convenient treat for special occasions or unexpected guests. Just remember to thaw them slightly before serving.
