Ingredients

  • 24 oz. pkg. navy beans
  • 2 c. shredded carrots
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • stringed ham (picnic)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Cook several hours.
  4. Cover the pot halfway through cooking process. Add water as needed.
  5. Serve with cornbread and cole slaw.
