Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat butter for 30 seconds; add granulated sugar and beat until fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla and 2 teaspoons of water, beat well.
  3. Stir in flour and pecans.
  4. Shape into 1-inch balls or 1 1/2 x 1/2-inch fingers.
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in 325° oven for 20 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Gently shake a few cookies at a time in a bag with powdered sugar.
