Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a small, heavy saucepan, melt the butter.
  2. Stir in the flour.
  3. Add the milk and cook, stirring constantly, until it boils.
  4. Lower the flame.
  5. Add the grated Swiss cheese and salt.
  6. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until smooth and well blended.
