Crispy, flavorful sausage egg rolls packed with savory pork sausage, fresh ginger, and garlic, perfect as an appetizer or snack for gatherings and casual meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Jimmy Dean Sausage (pork)
  • 2 bags (16 oz each) cole slaw mix
  • 3 tbsp fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 package (18-20) egg roll wrappers

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Remove from heat; add cole slaw mix, ginger, garlic, pepper, and salt; mix well.
  3. Transfer to a colander to drain.
  4. Cool for 15 minutes.
  5. Assemble egg roll wrappers as directed on package, using 1/3 cup sausage mixture for each roll.
  6. Deep fry in 3 inches of cooking oil for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
