  • 8 slices white bread

  • 4 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Cube the white bread (remove crusts) and place in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Brown the sausage, then drain excess fat.
  4. Add drained mushrooms and pimentos to the sausage.
  5. Beat eggs, milk, dry mustard, and salt together with a beater.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the bread in the pan.
  7. Pour the milk-egg mixture over the cheese and bread.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  9. Next morning, mix one can of mushroom soup with half a can of milk.
  10. Spread the mushroom soup mixture over the top of the casserole.
  11. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1.5 hours.
  12. Let cool before cutting into squares.
