Tips & Substitutions

For a quicker meal, consider using pre-cooked sausage or turkey sausage, which can reduce cooking time. If fresh tomatoes are not available, canned diced tomatoes can be a great substitute. Adding a splash of white wine to the sauce can enhance the flavor. For a creamier sauce, mix in some cream or cheese towards the end of cooking.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this hearty sausage pasta with a side of garlic bread and a fresh green salad for a complete meal. A sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top can elevate the dish. For a twist, try pairing it with garlic and herb focaccia or browse more Italian recipes for additional inspiration.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of water or broth to avoid drying out the pasta. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat or in the microwave, stirring occasionally until heated through.
