Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 c. finely chopped green peppers
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. narrow egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, combine sausage, onion, and green pepper. Cook over medium heat until sausage is brown and onion is tender. Drain off pan drippings.
  2. Combine tomatoes, sour cream, water, sugar, salt, chili powder, and seasonings.
  3. Stir the tomato mixture into the sausage mixture.
  4. Stir in the cooked noodles.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
