Ingredients

  • 5 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 4 Tbsp. tapioca sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup tomato juice

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the tomato soup, ketchup, tomato juice, brown sugar, tapioca sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the browned meat and onions.
  3. Simmer the mixture on low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  4. Optionally, transfer to a crock-pot and cook on low for several hours for deeper flavor.
  5. Serve hot, and enjoy. This dish freezes well for later.
