Scottish scones are flaky, buttery treats with a hint of sweetness, perfect for breakfast or tea time, enjoyed plain or with marmalade and curd.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blend dry ingredients using a pastry cutter.
- Add beaten eggs and enough milk to make 1 1/2 cups of mixture.
- Handle the dough as little as possible and drop by large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until light brown.
- Serve plain with marmalade or lemon curd.
