Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup butter

Instructions

  2. Beat in the sifted mixture with the butter and confectioners sugar until well combined.
  3. Divide the dough into two halves and shape each into a ball.
  4. Press each ball onto a cookie sheet lined with brown paper, flattening to about 1/2-inch thick and forming a round shape.
  5. Bake as desired or chill and cut into slices before baking.
