Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large potato (about 1/2 lb.), minced
  • 2 small onions, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup chili sauce, divided
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. margarine, softened

Instructions

  1. Grease a pan or dish with butter.
  2. Mix all ingredients except for 1/2 cup chili sauce.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
  5. Drain off excess fat.
  6. Turn the meat loaf over and cook for about 5 minutes more.
  7. Top with the remaining chili sauce before serving.
