A hearty, no-fuss beef stew with mushroom and celery soups, perfect for slow cooking and satisfying with noodles, rice, potatoes, or biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 lb. beef, cut for stew
  • 8 oz. mushroom soup
  • 2 c. beef broth or water
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 can of cream of celery soup
  • 1 onion gravy mix

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a casserole dish.
  2. Do not brown the meat.
  3. Do not mix the ingredients.
  4. Place, uncovered, in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 6 hours if the meat is raw.
  5. Serve with noodles, rice, potatoes, or biscuits.
