Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (3 oz) butter pecan instant pudding

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, chopped nuts, and softened margarine.
  2. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.
  3. Allow the crust to cool completely.
  4. Beat together the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spread the cream cheese and Cool Whip layer over the cooled crust.
  7. Prepare the pudding according to package instructions, using 1 1/2 cups of milk per package.
  8. Layer the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Chill the pie thoroughly before serving.
