Ingredients

  • 6 oz. crabmeat or shrimp, drained and cut in pieces
  • 1 cup shredded process sharp American cheese
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate.
  3. Mix crabmeat, shredded American cheese, and sliced green onions.
  4. Place the mixture into the prepared pie plate.
  5. In a blender, beat the remaining ingredients (milk, Bisquick baking mix, eggs, salt, nutmeg) until smooth, about 15 seconds; or beat by hand for 1 minute.
  6. Pour the batter into the pie plate over the crabmeat mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with nutmeg on top.
  8. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until set and golden.
