Ingredients

  • whole chicken
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil and debone the chicken.
  2. Place the cooked chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. Slice the boiled eggs and layer them on top of the chicken.
  4. Add the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken and eggs.
  5. Mix the self-rising flour, milk, margarine, and black pepper to form a batter or mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture over the chicken, eggs, and soup in the baking dish without stirring.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until the top is browned.
