Ingredients

  • 2 c. dried bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. dried serviceberries
  • 1/2 c. shelled pinyon pine nuts
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh sage

Instructions

  1. Soak dried serviceberries in hot water for 2 hours.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Mix soaked berries with dried bread crumbs, melted margarine, shelled pinyon pine nuts, salt, pepper, and fresh sage.
  4. Use the mixture for stuffing wild fowl.
