Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh fish
  • 1/8 lb. salt pork
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 cups raw potatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup light cream

Instructions

  1. Fry the salt pork, cut fine, until crispy.
  2. Add minced onions and fry until light yellow.
  3. Add diced potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Boil the fish until tender, then remove and set aside.
  5. Add fish stock to the vegetables and add boiling water if needed.
  6. Cook until potatoes are tender.
  7. Add the cooked fish to the soup and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Before serving, add light cream and stir well.
