Ingredients

  • 8 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Put chicken in an oblong dish or pan, skin side up.
  2. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for a few minutes.
  3. Dissolve bouillon in warm water.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and cooking sherry.
  5. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  6. Cover with foil and cook at 250° for 4 hours.
  7. Serve over rice.
