Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 3/4 cup cooked shrimp, cut in pieces

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil with butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add flour all at once, stirring well until the mixture leaves the side of the pan.
  3. Remove from heat and add well-beaten eggs, stirring until smooth and thick.
  4. Stir in cooked shrimp and grated cheese.
  5. Drop by small spoonfuls into shallow hot fat.
  6. Brown on both sides before serving.
