Juicy shrimp marinated in a savory Worcestershire sauce mixture with herbs and spices, perfect for dipping with French bread and enjoying as a flavorful appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic puree
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sauce slowly for 10 to 15 minutes; do not boil.
  2. Allow the sauce to cool slightly and add the shrimp (50 to 60 medium).
  3. Stir the shrimp around in the mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Put the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
  5. Cook the shrimp in a 400°F oven for 18 to 20 minutes, stirring several times.
  6. Serve with French bread and potato salad, using bread to dip in the sauce.
