Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 small green onions, chopped fine
  • 1 green pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery, chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
  • 3 Tbsp. cold water

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese and blend it with mayonnaise.
  2. Heat the cream of mushroom soup until warmed through.
  3. Dissolve the Knox gelatine in 3 tablespoons of cold water, then add it to the warm soup.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Add chopped green onions, chopped celery, and chopped green pepper to the cream cheese and mayonnaise mixture, then blend with the soup mixture.
  6. Stir in the shrimp or crabmeat.
  7. Pour the mixture into a mold and chill overnight before serving.
