Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup pecans

Instructions

  1. Cream oleo and sugar together.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Add 1/2 cup sour cream and mix.
  4. Add 3/4 cup flour and mix well.
  5. Add cocoa and the remaining sour cream, then beat well.
  6. Fold in nuts, raisins, and vanilla.
  7. Pour batter into layered pans.
  8. Bake and then cover with icing made of powdered sugar and butter or cream cheese.
