Silver Turtles are hearty foil-baked meals combining ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, and broccoli, perfect for easy, flavorful family dinners or outdoor camping meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 to 5 sliced potatoes
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • 2 sliced carrots
  • 1 pkg frozen broccoli
  • season salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Take a sheet of foil and place 1/4 pound of ground beef on it.
  3. Add sliced potatoes, sliced carrots, sliced onions, and 1/4 package of frozen broccoli on top of the beef.
  4. Season with season salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
  5. Fold the foil into a pouch, sealing the edges.
  6. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make four pouches.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
