Ingredients

  • 12 oz. cooked ground beef
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced onion
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 medium canned tomatoes with juice
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 3/4 c. tomato puree

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked ground beef, sliced onion, chopped green pepper, and crushed garlic in a large skillet.
  2. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
  3. Add canned tomatoes with juice, cooked rice, chili powder, salt, pepper, and tomato puree; mix well.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes.
