Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 lb. brisket
  • 12 oz. can Coca-Cola
  • 12 oz. bottle chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix cola, chili sauce, and onion soup mix in a bowl.
  2. Place the brisket, fat side up, in a Dutch oven or baking dish.
  3. Pour the liquid mixture over the brisket and cover tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  4. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 30 minutes per pound, about 3 hours, or until tender.
  5. Trim off excess fat after cooking.
  6. For slow cooking, cook all day at 220°F (104°C).
